Crocodiles!  You have the opportunity to experience these prehistoric creatures up close!  Excellent photo opportunities exist as you meander the freshwater crocodile lagoon boardwalk situated within the park.

Situated on the banks of the beautiful Blackmore River, Tumbling Waters is the ideal spot for enthusiastic anglers with fresh & salt water fishing available year round straight off the river bank.

The best barra fishing is during spring tides. Queenfish & salmon are most productive on the incoming tides. Bream are best during the cooler months of the dry as are Mackerel. Freshwater prawns can be caught in the billabong. Fishing tackle/prawn traps available for hire. Boat ramp within a short drive. 

Grab a hat & sunscreen, plenty of water, camera and fishing gear!

The park is home to an abundance of native animals & birds with over 100 varieties recorded within the park. Explore the 5km of walking/bike trails along the river and billabong to see Cathedral termite mounds, Cycads, tropical flora & fauna. View the Great Bowerbird bower.
